ownership and therefore they are furnished
and decorated with the personal tastes of

equipped and all the kitchens have a
refrigerator and a plain cooking, but the
electric equipments are able not to coincide
with the standards of your house
In Italy the beds can be very simple and
they can be also shorter than those usual
than the United Kingdom. The base of the
mattresses can vary of the tastes of the
owners.
Arrival/Departure
The arrival from the greatest part of
the houses must have effected from the
hours 4 pm to the hours 7 pm of the day of the
arrival. It
normally needs to leave the lodgings within
the hours 10 am of the day of the departure
to allow that the rooms are available to
propose them to the following arrivals of
clients.
Cautionary deposit

Opening
hours
The exact schedules of opening vary from
place to place. You will normally find that
everything is closed between the 1 pm and
the 4 pm apart the restaurants and some
shops. The supermarkets close to the 8 pm
and the pharmacies they are closed at night

are open for the emergencies.
Making
calls
Prepaid domestic telephone cards and Italian
SIM cards can be purchased from Newsagents,
tobacco shops and sometimes bars to use in
the telephone booths. Low call rate times
are between 6.30pm and 8am weekdays, after
2pm Saturdays and all day Sunday.
Electricity
The Italian
mains supply is at 220 V, 50 Hz. Adapters
are still needed for the plugs (most Italian
sockets have 2-3 holes) and North American
citizens will need a transformer. Please be
aware that in some older properties, the
electrical supply can trip if it is
overloaded. It is necessary to consider this
when using several high voltage appliances
at once. In the event of the electrics
tripping, it is necessary to flip the mains
trip switch that can be located in the
external mains box found by the main door or
gate of most properties.
